The RUUUD wind deflector is mainly designed to reduce wind noise but fits the roof racks look seamlessly. The wind deflector is mounted on the roof racks front crossbar and comes as standard on all RUUUD roof racks. The wind deflector reduces drag and smoothens the air over the vehicle which results in less noise and a better fuel economy.

ROLL IT, EASY LOADING AND UNLOADING

On a RUUUD roof rack, a roof rack wide ladder roller is fitted as standard. A ladder roller makes loading and unloading such as a ladder, pipes and or other long loads not only easier but certainly safer. The ladder roller protrudes behind the roof rack. This is to make sure you don't hit the vans roof when loading or unloading. RUUUD offers roof racks with ladder rollers for vans with rear doors or a rear hatch.

TWO DIFFERENT SIDE WALL PROFILE TYPES

Everyone uses their roof rack to transport different types of materials and goods which do not fit the vans cargo area. To provide the best solution in every situation, RUUUD offers a closed or an open sidewall profile. An open sidewall provides more attachment options than a closed side wall. A closed side wall has a lower profile which gives more roof clearance. RUUUD gives you the option to choose.

BLACK ANODIZE ALUMINUM ROOF RACKS

The black color on a RUUUD roof rack is achieved by a chemical process called anodizing and gives the aluminum a black color. During the anodizing process the aluminum gets a controlled oxidation layer which protects the aluminum from things like UV-ray, silty air, snow and rain but also against friction, wear and rust. The anodizing process is very different of a spray paint or powder coat. It is not a layer on the aluminum but it makes the aluminum itself black for an certain depth. This way scratches are less visible. The additional benefit of anodized aluminum is that it is 100% recyclable.
